I have made a few of these before and though I don't work with gold leaf very often, I wonder why not. I love the way the gold catches the light from every angle, and because it's placed between beveled glass, it almost looks like it's floating. It's simple, a little modern, and one of those pieces that seems to change every time you pick it up. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
