Glass Heart with Real Forget Me Not and Queen Annes Lace Bag Charm

Sometimes a bag just needs a little personality. I made this heart shaped glass bag charm with a real blue forget me not surrounded by delicate Queen Anne's lace, then added a bright blue glass bead that ties the whole piece together. It clips onto a purse, backpack, handbag, journal, planner, tote, luggage, lanyard or even an umbrella handle if you're feeling adventurous.

I love that it dresses up just about anything with a zipper or handle without being flashy. It's lightweight, easy to move from one bag to another, and makes a sweet little everyday reminder that handmade things belong in everyday life, too. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
