Dragonfly Wing Necklace
From the beginning, dragonflies and praying mantis' have been my most favorite of insects. One day, when I was down by the lake taking photos, (actually a big pond, but we exaggerated a bit) this gorgeous Green Darner Dragonfly lit on a nearby reed. He allowed me to take loads of photos, one which became my logo. And after your vote, he is now called "Dash".
Dragonflies are my familiars. My husband teases, calling me "Mother of all Dragonflies", the way they seem to find me on walks or follow me from here to there. I have saved many over the years from becoming a spiders dinner when they found themselves captured by cobwebs on our bayou. Happens more than you might think. That said, all of natures wings that I use are ethically sourced, only collected when found and only after the sweet buggy has expired naturally. I would never harm a dragonfly.

Artisan Handmade Process
My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
