I hand soldered this faceted glass teardrop in a soft aqua seafoam sort of blue green that changes a little depending on the light. Simple piece...clean lines...just enough sparkle from the faceting without trying too hard. Finished on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain so it sits nicely right at the collarbone. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
