I always think jewelry has two primary purposes, to draw attention  and to begin a conversation. This one does both. I've never invested in an expensive glass cutter, one that will cut bottles easily. Most of my work is as organic as it comes, i.e., put bottle in bag, hammer, pick through piece, grind into shape, rest to recycling. From inception to completion, wholly handmade by me. Great conversation piece.

Artisan Hand Crafted Process

I use the stained glass Tiffany style method of copper foiling glass, gemstones and vintage items, I then free form copper and hand solder various metals, (tin, copper, silver, brass) then apply patina and finish with a hand polish.
