Moss Agate Earrings

If you’ve been around here a while, you probably know I have a big ol’ soft spot for gemstones that end in “-ite” — labradorite, pyrite, kyanite… swoon!  But lately, a little outsider has been sneaking into my heart: Moss Agate.

Sure, it doesn’t end in “-ite,” but oh it makes up for it in pure dreamy charm. Every single stone looks like a tiny enchanted forest or a secret landscape from a fairytale. Can so totally see a dragon hanging out in the skyline of these earrings.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
