Labradorite Teardrop Pendant in Silver Finish

Here I've set a smaller piece of labradorite in a simple teardrop design with a silver finish. What caught my eye was the flash. Depending on the light, it shifts between soft gold, green, and hints of blue across the surface of the stone. The open circle detail keeps the design clean and uncomplicated while letting the labradorite do most of the talking. A nice choice for someone who enjoys natural stone jewelry that changes a little every time the light hits it. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
