Green Kambaba Jasper Statement Pendant Necklace

This Kambaba jasper immediately caught my attention with those wonderful green circles and patterns scattered through the nearly black stone. I hand formed and soldered the setting around it, adding the large open circle above the stone and a few little swirls and details across the top. There's something almost ancient looking about the finished piece, although I can't take much credit for that... the stone came up with most of the interesting parts all by itself. It's a substantial natural stone pendant for someone who likes earthy jewelry that's a little outside the ordinary. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
