Blue Green Agate Handmade Pendant Necklace

I hand formed and soldered this pendant around a blue and green agate doublet with wonderful natural patterning running through the stone. There are soft whites, watery blues and touches of green that make me think of looking down at the earth from somewhere very high up. The open circle above the stone is part of the pendant itself and gives the whole piece a more modern, sculptural shape. A beautiful gift for a gemstone lover, nature lover, wife or someone who simply loves unusual handmade jewelry. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
