Small Blue Labradorite Pendant Necklace

This little labradorite may be small, but it's certainly not being quiet about it. The stone has a beautiful electric blue flash that comes alive when it catches the light, with all those natural lines and markings still visible underneath. I hand soldered the small rectangular stone and finished the setting in silver, keeping everything simple so that blue gets to do the showing off. It's an easy everyday necklace and a great jewelry gift for someone who loves natural stones, blue jewelry or those little unexpected flashes labradorite is so good at. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
