Sunset Moth Pendant Necklace

From the forests of Madagascar comes the most stunning of flying moths. Due to their striking colors, their wings were made into various jewelry types that were popular among royalty and aristocrats in the late 1800's/early 1900's.  This pendant is two sided, wearable from both sides. Incredible colors. 

All of my butterfly jewelry is ethically sourced. That means they have been raised on butterfly farms or sanctuaries and allowed to live their full lifespan, and are then collected and preserved so that their beauty can live on.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
