Large Round Natural Agate Druzy Necklace

I loved the pattern in this stone before I even got to the sparkly part. It's a large round agate with soft layers of gray, cream and white that spread across the stone almost like a little abstract landscape, then there's a natural crystalline druzy area along one side that catches the light. I hand soldered the stone with a simple frame and wide bail and gave the metal a gunmetal finish. There's a lot to look at in this one without me needing to add much of anything. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
