Moss Agate Doublet Mountain Landscape Necklace

This stone looks like somebody tucked an entire little landscape inside it. The layers of blue, white and earthy brown remind me of distant mountains rising beneath a bright blue sky, with those wonderful white bands looking almost like clouds rolling across the peaks. It’s a moss agate doublet that I hand soldered in a simple silver finish, because this one really didn’t need much help from me. Turn it a little and there’s something else in the landscape to notice. A beautiful jewelry gift for someone who loves mountains, nature, hiking or stones that seem to have their own scenery built right in. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
