Orange Dragon Vein Agate Dangle Earrings

These little rounds of dragon vein agate have such a great mix of fiery orange, red and amber running through them, with all those natural looking lines and patches that give the stone its name. I hand soldered each round in a simple silver finish and paired them with hand formed oxidized sterling silver ear wires. They’re colorful without being fussy, and that warm orange makes them especially pretty for fall, though I certainly wouldn’t tell them they have to stay in one season. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
