Faceted Red Onyx Pendant Necklace, One of a Kind Gemstone Necklace

I bought this faceted red onyx because the color stopped me in my tracks. Deep red with flashes of orange when the light hits it just right. The photos are nice, but this is one of those pieces that really comes alive in motion, so be sure to watch the video. I kept the setting simple and finished it in a dark gunmetal finish because the stone was already doing all the talking. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
