I have a weakness for old things that have outlived their original purpose, and this little vintage glass perfume bottle stopper was begging for another job. I hand formed and soldered the cap and long open bail around the original frosted glass stopper, leaving the old floral detail visible. What once sat on top of a perfume bottle is now wearable again...just in an entirely different way. A fun piece for someone who loves antique perfume bottles, repurposed jewelry, vintage glass or simply owning something nobody else is likely to be wearing. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
