Two Sided Blue and White Broken China Pendant Necklace

I made this pendant from pieces of broken china, and one of my favorite things about it is that you get two completely different looks. One side has a bold blue and white swirl, while the other has a colorful floral pattern with touches of orange, blue and yellow. I added a little round piece of blue ceramic above the china, then hand soldered everything together with a silver finish and an open circle at the top. I love giving old dishes another chance at being something pretty, especially when both sides have something interesting to show. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
