Crystal Quartz Earrings

Subtle "Bling".

Enough said. 

But of course, I have to say more. I love quartz almost as much as I love labradorite and Herkimer diamonds are at the top of my favorite quartz list. (Yes, there is a list...okay, not really but fun to pretend.)

What are they?

Herkimer diamonds are double terminated quartz crystals. Which means they have natural point facets on both ends. They are rare in that they grow with little to no contact with a larger host quartz.

• As the quartz diamonds are organic, the sizes vary from quartz to quartz. Approximately 3/8 inch x 3/4 inch.

Artisan Handcrafted Process

I use the stained glass Tiffany style method of copper foiling glass, gemstones and vintage items, I then free form copper and hand solder various metals, (tin, copper, silver, brass) then apply patina and finish with a hand polish.
