Ammonite Pendant Necklace

One Of A Kind

Bayou Glass Arts™

This pendant holds a real prehistoric ammonite fossil, the spiral of an ancient sea creature that lived millions of years ago. I’ve set it in a silver finish frame, keeping the natural pattern as the star. The rich browns and creams show off the fossil’s chambers, very cool.

It’s a piece that works for men or women, simple enough for everyday wear and unique enough to be a conversation starter. One of a kind, just like the creature it came from. :)

From inception to completion, each piece of jewelry is handmade by me with care in my home studio in Louisiana, USA.

I take special care with packaging to ensure your jewelry arrives safely.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—I’m happy to help! Thank you so much for considering my work. ~Contina
