Here I set a pair of long oval Botswana agate gemstones into simple settings with a silver finish and added stainless steel ear wires. Botswana agate is known for its soft banding, and these have warm earthy tones that move from deep rust to lighter layers that almost look like a quiet landscape inside the gemstone. The shape gives them a nice length without feeling heavy, and they move gently when worn. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
