Here I've made a round dendrite gemstone necklace in a dark, moody palette. The stone is misty white cream with fern-like markings that look like tiny trees. I wrapped the stone in copper foil and soft soldered the setting with a smooth gunmetal finish. Handmade in my Louisiana studio, chain included, one of a kind.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
