Here I set a small round golden labradorite gemstone into a simple setting with a gunmetal finish. Labradorite is known for the way the color shifts in the light, and this one gives off a warm golden glow that almost looks lit from within. It is a smaller pendant, but the flash of color really draws the eye when the light hits it just right. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
