Bayou Glass Arts

One Of A Kind

Repurposed China Pendant

This little circle began as a chipped Blue Willow china plate… one that was given to me instead of tossed away. The kind that might have sat in a cabinet for years or been part of Sunday dinners and family gatherings. I saved this quiet scene… the fisherman in his boat, the small house, the still water… and gave it a second life as something you can wear. Handmade in my home studio

Bayou Glass Arts™… honoring what was and gently turning it into something new.

From inception to completion, each piece of jewelry is handmade by me with care in my home studio in Louisiana, USA.

I take special care with packaging to ensure your jewelry arrives safely.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—I’m happy to help! Thank you so much for considering my work. ~Contina
