Snowflake Snow Globe Necklace

Winter, she is a'comin'! How cool and fun are my snow globe pendants? I take stained glass, layout a design inside, add glass beads and encase with a watch crystal on top. Watch crystals are durable and make the perfect glass in which to encase small things.  "Snow" moves freely within. Check out the video. I make these in a few other designs and may make even more. Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
