Here I set a small abalone shell (5/8in) into an organic silver finish pendant. I like the way the silver moves around the stone instead of sitting stiff around it. The abalone brings the color... blues, greens, and that little flash that shows up when the light hits it. Handmade in my home studio.

Artisan Handmade Process

My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
