The mother of pearl has that soft pearly luster that shifts as it moves, while the labradorite answers with a bright flash of blue and turquoise. They’re completely different materials, but somehow the light in one makes the other look even better. I finished the piece in silver and kept the design simple enough to let all that natural shimmer do the work.
